From Heidi Ott:
As many of you know, Billy Bauer of the Billy Bauer Band recently underwent surgery to remove a lesion on his vocal chords. This unexpected medical issue has been disastrous as Billy has been unable to perform for many months. Music is his primary source of income to support himself and his young triplets. With the extreme costs associated with surgery and rehabilitation Billy and his family have been devastated financially by this illness.
The good news is, he is on the road to recovery and we are hoping to have our friend back doing what he loves as soon as possible.
For now, I think it's incredibly important that we all come together to show Billy our love and support while celebrating his journey to recovery through a night of music.
Neville Gardner, owner of McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar, has very generously allowed us to have a fundraiser there in Billy's honor on Friday, October 16, 2015. There will be live music from The James Supra and Sarah Ayers Quartet, and many other talented musicians from the Lehigh Valley. There will be a $10 suggested donation at the door. Raffle baskets thoughtfully donated by local businesses will be available to win at this event.
Let's give back to Billy for all the joy he has brought us over the years with his talents and his friendship!
Hope to see you at McCarthy's Red Stag Pub and Whiskey Bar October 16th to rally around our friend!
