The Celtic Cultural Alliance is starting a Celtic Reading Club. This group will be devoted to reading and discussing different works of Celtic Literature.
The Theme for 2015 will be ancient to modern literature. We will be delving into selections of mythology and other ancient texts and then transition into modern literature that delves into similar themes and stories. We will begin with ancient mythical material from six of the Celtic Nations: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Cornwall, and Brittany. We will first look at tales of early Celtic heroes and later examine how they are introduced again in modern literature.
