The Duo
Join McCarthy’s as the pair expertly performs some of the “brother” style duets of the bluegrass world. Also, their vocal harmonies of traditional Irish folk songs. Instrumentally, the duet expertly performs in various combinations on guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin, bouzouki, and tenor banjo. Their musical interplay at times hauntingly spare and beautiful, such as on an Irish ballad. At other times a powerful drive of cascading notes that can bring down the house. The King Brother seen on festival stages from New Jersey to Ireland, or in clubs and pubs from Pennsylvania to Virginia. Above all, the King Brothers deliver some solid, professional musical entertainment. They have two recordings available, The King Brothers and Songs of Ireland.
Join us every week for a pint, some great food, and live music at the pub on Friday and Saturday evenings, plus Sunday mornings during our Celtic Brunch. Located in our Main Pub or Outside for large events in Downtown Historic Bethlehem.
