THE SINGER
For those who aren’t familiar with me, Hello, my name is Payton Renee and I am a singer/songwriter local to the Lehigh Valley, PA. I am often spotted at restaurants, bars, or festivals performing originals and covers whilst accompanying myself on guitar. I mostly focus on the genres of rock, country, and alternative, but I do also enjoy throwing other pieces into the mix. I have studied music at Arts Academy Charter Middle School, The Lesson Center (Bethlehem), and I had recently graduated from The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in 2020. I started my getting out into our music community around age 14. I went to open mics, participated in school showcases and musicals, and I eventually created my own open mics and shows with the help of Mr. Brown during my time at LVCA.
Over the past few years I have played at restaurants all over the valley, Musikfest Cafe, Musikfest, the Blast Furnace Blues Festival, The Celebration of Music Talent Show with host Ethan Bortnick, and I had my first big show having the amazing opportunity of opening for Dana Fuchs. I am currently continuing my musical journey at Kutztown University working hard to earn my bachelors degree in Commercial Music focusing in the area of Voice.
